New Lenten Daybreaks Author is Familiar to Liguorian Readers
Our popular Daybreaks series of reflections for Lent and Advent is often recognized by the acclaimed authors who provide daily insights for the holy seasons. Our Lent 2021 edition relies on a familiar voice for many of our regular readers.
Fr. Byron Miller, CSsR, is President and Publisher at Liguori Publications. His daily meditations show us where we can find the living Jesus in ourselves and others. Father Byron’s light tone and insightful observations provide a journey from the revelry of Mardi Gras in New Orleans and long walks in fresh air, to Calvary and the road to Emmaus.
From Ash Wednesday through the Easter Octave, Father Byron provides an opportunity for personal reflection, prayer, and meditation on the daily Lectionary readings from Masses throughout the holy season.
If your Lenten prayer commitment includes an enhanced experience then following through the Daybreaks reflections will open your understanding of repentance, sacrifice and support of others.
Also available in Spanish translation as Un Nuevo Comienzo Meditaciones diarias para Cuaresma y Pascua, pricing for the 64-page Daybreaks begins at $2.99 for an individual copy with quantity discounts available for parishes or other organizations looking to purchase them for distribution.
Visit liguori.org to view our collection of Daybreaks publications through the years. While you may find a few author names considered more recognizable, you will not discover any better at communicating an understanding of how our lives are reflected in the words of Scripture.
