Saint Gianna's Daughter Loves this Book!

Gianna Emanuela Molla, Daughter of St. Gianna Molla, shared with us at the Midwest Catholic Family Conference how much she loves Gianna Beretta Molla - a book from Liguori Publications that tells the story of St. Gianna's life and courage. 

"Let me tell you why I love this book," Gianna Emanuela shared, "It shows my whole family. My mama would not have been able to make her sacrifice without my papa." 

St. Gianna Beretta Molla was a doctor, wife, and mother. She loved her own little family dearly and gave her life to allow her daughter, Gianna Emanuela, to be born. 

Illustrator Katherine A. Borgatti depicts the entire Molla family together, showcasing how St. Gianna had her husband to support the children she left behind. 

Like the Holy Family, the Molla family gives us an example of Christian love, faithfulness, and sacrifice. 

The saint's daughter even pointed to the drawing of herself as a baby at the end of the book, saying, "That's me!"
