Liguori Publications Received Two ACP Excellence in Publishing Awards

Liguori Publications is pleased to announce that two of its publications received the Excellence in Publishing Awards from the Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP). These awards help readers to navigate the vast amounts of literature in the world, guiding the faithful to a deeper connection with Christ. 

Papa León XIV: Corazón inquieto, pastor fiel, written by Sr. Gemma Morató Sendra, OP, received the only award given in the Spanish category.   

Saintly Bites for Children: Mixing Faith, Fun, and Family Time in the Kitchen, written by Shelby Siegfried, has received the second-place award in the Children’s Books: Young Readers category.   

Author of Saintly Bites for Children, Shelby Seigfried, says, "At a time when families are looking for meaningful ways to share the faith with the next generation, it's encouraging to see resources that connect faith, family, and everyday life being celebrated. My hope is that this book helps children and families discover saints as real people whose stories can inspire them for years to come." 

The Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP) supports a viable, vibrant, and diverse Catholic publishing environment throughout North America and beyond. It seeks to provide visibility to, advocacy for, and sustainability of published Catholic content. 

In particular, the ACP provides leadership to, among, and on behalf of its members, who serve the Catholic market. 

Liguori Publications has had many of its titles recognized by the ACP over the years, including Walk With My People” by Fr. Michael McAndrew, in 2025; and two of its Saints and Me Children’s titles, John the Baptist: Saint for Baptism and Philip Neri: Saint for Confirmation, both by Barbara Yoffie, in 2020.
