Liguori Publications Has Two Award Finalists from the Association of Catholic Publishers

Liguori Publications is proud to share that two of our publications are finalists for the 2026 “Excellence in Publishing Award” from the Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP). 

“The goal of these awards is to recognize the best in Catholic publishing,” the ACP explains. 

Saintly Bites for Children: Mixing Faith, Fun, and Family Time in the Kitchen, written by Shelby Siegfried, has been nominated in the Children’s Books: Young Readers category. 

Saintly Bites for Children brings faith, food, and family together in the kitchen, blending the engaging narratives of saints with easy-to-follow recipes that were crafted with young chefs in mind. Papa León XIV: Corazón inquieto, pastor fiel, written by Sr. Gemma Morató Sendra, OP, has been nominated in the Spanish category. 

Pope Leo XIV has captured the attention of many people around the world. The former Cardinal Robert F. Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV, is the first pope to have been born in the United States. He has also spent a great deal of time serving the people of Peru. This book explores themes inspired by his first Urbi et Orbi blessing as Peter’s successor, given on May 8, 2025. Here we’re invited to embrace a posture of listening from one who has made that his life’s work. 

Sr. Gemma Morató Sendra is a Dominican Sister of Charity of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin, born in Reus (Tarragona, Spain).
