ACP 2020 "Excellence in Publishing" Awards

Five Liguori books are named Finalists for the Association of Catholic Publishers’ 2020 “Excellence in Publishing” Awards. The Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP) sponsors the annual awards that “recognize the best in Catholic publishing.” The awards are for books that were published in 2019.

ACP executive director Therese Brown said, “Most categories reflect the breadth of ACP member publishers’ frontlists; Liguori Publications dominates the Young Readers/Children’s Books category” for their Saints for Sacraments books.

Brown continued, “We were particularly impressed with the wide range of titles that were submitted. Submissions covered issues of personal and corporate spiritual life across the rhythms of daily and liturgical life.”

Finalists from Liguori are Conscience: Writings from “Moral Theology” by Saint Alphonsus; and four Saints for Sacraments books: John the Baptist: Saint for Baptism, Philip Neri: Saint for Confirmation, Maximilian Kolbe: Saint for Anointing of the Sick, and Saints for Sacraments Activity Book.
