Los Angeles Religious Education Conference 2025

Exhilarating! That’s the only way to describe the experience of arriving at LAREC on Youth Day, the opening day of the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. Several thousand high-school age Catholics attended the event, and their enthusiasm was truly contagious! The joy of Catholic youth is wonderful to experience as it brings a flood of hope for the future.

The next three days of the congress welcomed adults from around the world who came to experience workshops and listen to a variety of speakers. They had opportunities to attend musical celebrations, daily liturgies, a film showcase, and a large exhibitor hall that displayed Catholic books, videos, gifts, T-shirts, and all types of parish resources.

Liguori Publications’ booth showcased recently published books as well as some popular resources available to parishes. Visitors to the booth were especially pleased to see Liguori’s complete Journey of Faith OCIA and Jornada de Fe RICA programs on display, and they took advantage of being able to purchase the materials in person. Liguori’s new set of 100+ Catholic Updates (JF0014) was also a hit with those looking to supplement their OCIA program with additional content on key topics. Booth visitors also enjoyed receiving a free copy of the latest issue of Liguorian magazine.
