Truth Confirmation Program

This bright and lively Confirmation program for teenagers is packed with activity ideas, real-life issues, discussion topics, prayer, and Scripture readings. Truth uses a pastoral approach to formation, inviting teens to see (be aware of their surroundings), to judge (through discernment or reflection), to act (by applying this to their lives), and to pray. Each of the nine sessions includes brief stories about teen peers and about role models. There is space for notes, journaling, and personalization.

This Leader Guide walks you through teaching the program, including a checklist of materials you'll need for each session, a reflection to prepare yourself spiritually for teaching, the teaching point of each session, and tips for structuring the session. The materials are flexible so as to enable any parish to run a successful course that will prepare their young people for the sacrament of Confirmation.

Truth Confirmation Program will help young people deepen their understanding of their faith, the sacraments, and the community. It will encourage them to examine how their faith is relevant to their daily lives and help them to commit putting their faith into practice.

There is a Candidate Book to this program, and there is a post-Confirmation program called Life.

Supplementing the Leader Book are 19 lively videos that get your group thinking and talking.
