The story of Saint Nicholas comes to life with colorful illustrations and lively text for children ages 4 through 9. Saint Nicholas was well-known for his joyful spirit of giving. He had a kind heart, just like Jesus. Many Christmas traditions were inspired by this holy and loving saint.

This book is part of the Saints of Christmas collection from the Saints and Me! series of children's books (for ages 4-9). Books featured in this collection can be ordered separately or as a set (A00057).

  • Mary and Joseph: Models of Faith and Love
  • Saint Francis of Assisi: Keeper of Creation
  • Nicholas of Myra: Giver of Many Gifts
  • Lucy: A Light for Jesus
  • Martin de Porres: A Beggar for Justice
  • Gianna Beretta Molla: Wife, Mother, and Doctor

Available separately, a companion Saints of Christmas Activity Book provides coloring pages and activities related to the saints. With 96 reproducible pages, the book makes a great resource for teachers, catechists, and parents to use over and over again. Children can relive the stories and learn by participating in word searches that contain words from the stories, coloring pages that have pictures from the stories, and reflective material on the saints as role models. This is an excellent way to introduce the saints to children, helping them to understand virtue and the desire to live a holy life.
