Anthony of Padua

Anthony was born in Lisbon, Portugal. He was a friend of Saint Francis of Assisi and became a Franciscan friar. Anthony was such a powerful preacher that he changed the hearts of sinners and heretics. Known for his miracles, he was given the nickname “The Wonder Worker.” His feast day is June 13th and he is the patron saint of the poor and searchers of lost items.
