Your Marriage: Participant Workbook

Deborah Meister holds an M.A. in Theology and an M.A. in Literature, Graduate Certification in Pastoral Care, and certification in Pastoral Ministry from the Archdiocese of St. Louis. As the author of several Liguori titles, Deborah draws for her previous experience as a college educator, hospital chaplain, high school Campus Minister, and various roles in parish ministry in seven dioceses around the country. She is married to Deacon Bill and they have two young adult daughters. Currently, her ministry focuses on the mission of the Redemptorist Fathers as an acquisitions editor for Liguori Publications.

Liguori's Sacramental Preparation Series, Your Marriage, includes important topics of interest for engaged couples to discuss as they prepare for their wedding and a lifetime of marriage. I appreciate the chapter that includes information on the four different temperaments and encourages couples to harmonize their differences and see the richness of their strengths as a unique couple.

The Your Marriage program by Liguori Publications offers prayerful reflections that help couples discern God’s will while preparing for the celebration of the sacrament and for the commitment of a lifelong marriage. I am particularly grateful for the session on military marriages, which highlights effective methods for the couples entrusted to my pastoral care to foster a strong marriage.
