Journey of Faith for Teens, Complete Set includes a total of 48 lessons for participants that cover all four periods of Christian initiation—Inquiry, Catechumenate, Enlightenment, and Mystagogy.

The teen program is based on Liguori Publications' best-selling Journey of Faith for Adults, and addresses life issues, faith topics, and questions in a catechetical approach to OCIA in an engaging pastoral style, using language that teens relate to. This program combines activities, group discussions, and private journaling to appeal to a variety of learning styles in a way that’s flexible enough to modify to your group's unique needs. 

Journey of Faith for Teens, Leader Guide (sold separately) provides everything needed to walk into OCIA sessions and start leading—whether you’re a veteran catechist or a first-time volunteer. Additional discussion points prepare you for their responses and keep the conversation going. The contemporary wraparound book design enables you to see what your participants see so you can spend more time sharing and growing in faith alongside your group.

OCIA v. RCIA: The process by which adults are initiated into the Catholic faith throughout the United States is now called the OCIA—the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. “Order” is a clearer translation of the Latin term for the process formerly known as the RCIA—the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. People preparing for baptism and reception into the Church celebrate several rites as part of the order to which those rites belong—an order whose mission is to journey in the faith.
