Helping Our Children Grow in Faith
"People are not born with faith, any more than with fully developed muscular systems. Nor is faith magically infused with the sacraments or even taught like religion or theology. We cannot really be taught or given faith by another person because faith is a living relationship, as we shall see. Yet, we can grow in faith, live in faith, act in faith and ritualize our faith. And we can share our faith with another person," writes DeGidio. She explains five stages in faith development, a journey never completed this side of heaven.
