Experiencing God

Fr. Dennis Billy uses Scripture, literature, nature, personal experience, metaphor, and theological reflection to demonstrate some of the ways in which God reveals himself to us today. It is a point of departure for your own thoughts on where and how the Divine has been manifested in your life.

Each of the fifteen short reflections is introduced by a few verses of Scripture or a brief poem, is followed by the author’s meditations on God’s presence in us, and concludes with a series of questions and concrete suggestions for integrating these insights into our daily experience. From “Morning Prayers” and “Contemplative Reading” to “Humble Asking” and “A Walk at Dusk”, Father Billy points us toward a prayerful, contemplative life.
