Opening the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

This Catholic Update helps readers to understand the special presence of the Holy Spirit in the Church, and to appreciate the important relationship among the sacraments of initiation: baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist. It shows how the Spirit is present and active in the process of initiation, and offers an explanation of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, including an “idea” (an action to take) and a prayer related to each one.
