A Life of Blessed Gennaro Maria Sarnelli, Redemptorist

Blessed Gennaro Maria Sarnelli (1702-1744), the newest “Blessed” of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, has traditionally been considered the “twin brother” of Saint Alphonsus Liguori. Both were born in Naples, trained as lawyers, and had a deep concern for the common people.
