How can I pay for my order? What payment methods can I use?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
We do not currently accept PayPal.

Billed orders are not accepted on our website.
Can I place an order without registering for an account?
Yes, customers may place orders as a guest, and will be asked to enter their shipping address and credit card information every time they order.
What are the advantages of registering for an account at Liguori.org?
What is a marketing code and how does it benefit me?
Marketing codes are printed numerical codes appearing on the back cover of catalogs and at the bottom of flyers and other materials. By entering the marketing code during checkout, you will receive any discounts associated with the catalog or other materials. If you do not have a marketing code, simply leave the box blank.
Questions about Shipping
What shipping options does Liguori offer?
Liguori offers several shipping options, including US Postal Service first class, UPS ground, second-day air, and next day air. Liguori recommends UPS ground so that orders may be effectively tracked.
During checkout, you will have the opportunity to compare prices for the various options and choose the one that best fits your needs. Please be aware that each shipping method may have specific requirements, such as the need for a street address (for example, a post office box cannot be used for UPS). Please take order processing time into account when selecting your shipping method, as orders usually take up to five days to process and ship, sometimes longer.
When will my order ship?
Orders are generally processed within five business days, often less, depending on order volume. During high volume periods, order processing may take longer.
Questions or Problems With My Order
Can I change or cancel my order once it has been submitted?
Orders cannot be changed once they are submitted.
Orders may be cancelled by calling 800.325.9521, provided that they have not shipped.
All orders that have shipped are subject to our standard Return Policy.
What if I my order is wrong?
Contact our Customer Service department as soon as possible. We will make every effort to resolve the problem.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible to file a claim. Please keep the original carton and damaged merchandise, as photos may be required.
What if my books are defective?
Defective books, computer software, videos, CDs, DVDs, and cassettes ordered directly from Liguori may be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt for replacement with the identical product. If your merchandise was damaged in shipment, you must hold the original carton and damaged merchandise for inspection; otherwise, the claim cannot be honored. You may be asked to provide a copy of your receipt and photos of the problem.
What if my shipment is lost?
Liguori is not responsible for orders that were sent to the address given to us by the customer and were subsequently lost, or for delivery issues such as shipments being misplaced or stolen after being properly delivered. Customers should check with the carrier regarding all lost shipments.
We suggest that the customer use UPS Ground or other shipping methods that allow for detailed order tracking.
What if I have a problem with a Liguori product I bought from another online retailer or from a local bookstore?
Customers must return or otherwise resolve issues with the store or online retailer from whom they purchased the book. We will only replace products purchased directly from us.
Questions about Parish and Other Institutional Orders
Do parishes receive quantity discounts?
Parishes and other institutions receive discounts for all orders, regardless of how they are placed. Discounts are based on the number of items ordered.
Can an order for a parish be billed?
Parishes and other institutions may be billed for orders placed by phone at 800.325.9521, by fax at 800-325-9526, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An invoice will be sent to the parish or other institution shortly after the book or books are shipped, with payment due in 30 days. Billed orders are not accepted on the website, as all web orders require a credit card.

Does Liguori accept orders from outside of the US?
Liguori ships products to customers worldwide. Liguori’s titles are also available from many fine bookstores around the world. Please check with your local bookstore to obtain a desired title, or contact one of Liguori’s international distributors.

Questions about Imprimatur and Conformity of Faith Formation and Catechetical Materials
Are Liguori’s products reviewed by the Church?
Liguori submits all products used in teaching about the faith for review by a censor librorum, a person with expertise in theology. If the censor concludes that the work does not contradict Catholic teaching about faith or morals, he issues a nihil obstat, Latin for “nothing hinders,” to the bishop, who then gives the publication his imprimatur, “let it be printed”. It is important to note that the nihil obstat and the imprimatur are official declarations that the work is free of doctrinal or moral error. They are neither endorsements of a product nor an indication that the material was fact checked. Works published by religious orders also receive an imprimi potest (“it can be printed”) or cum permissu superioris (“with the superior’s permission”) from the superior of the order. Liguori Publications is owned by the Redemptorist congregation, so all of its written materials have an imprimi potest from the provincial of the Redemptorists’ Denver Province.
Have Liguori’s faith-formation and catechetical materials been submitted to the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism for review?
According to the criteria authored by the Subcommittee, the kinds of materials accepted must fit a definition. Should materials not fit the definition the Subcommittee on the Catechism does not accept them. Due to confusion among customers asking for approval that could not be granted, several Catholic publishers asked the Subcommittee for a statement clarifying the range of materials accepted.
