We are pleased that you are considering Liguori Publications for your manuscript. Liguori works with authors to help maximize the reach for each individual title. We provide our authors with opportunities to distribute their titles through our website and other channels. We also encourage authors to actively campaign for their titles and attend book signings at bookstores or special events.
Liguori Publications’ vision is to be the leading provider of Roman Catholic publications for every stage of faith and life in an ever-changing world. We joyfully practice our faith and seek to serve the people of God by producing inspirational and educational books, articles, pamphlets, and parish programs in English and Spanish, in print and digital formats, on prayer and meditation, faith formation, sacramental preparation, catechesis, faith and living, Bible study, and VBS.
To help you determine how well your material fits our publishing house, please read the information that follows and browse our website. As a general rule, Liguori Publications does not accept the following:
- Private revelations
- Art/illustrated books
- Works that are secular, not founded in Roman Catholic belief and tradition, or contrary to the Redemptorist mission
Rather, we are looking for products that include, but are not limited to, these themes:
- Meditations on the seasons of the Church Year (Advent/Christmas, Lent/Easter) or on liturgical readings and texts
- Stories on, or reflections with, the life, words and works of the saints
- Studies, guides, and books for receiving, ministering, and experiencing the sacraments
If you believe your manuscript is in keeping with our vision, please submit a manuscript. Please note that we do not respond to general query letters, nor do we review proposals or manuscripts that are simultaneously submitted to other publishers. Please send a proposal rather than a manuscript initially as we accept no responsibility for lost or unsolicited manuscripts.
If you are interested in submitting an article to Liguorian, see the magazine’s Author Guidelines.
